How we work

Three things we will always do.

Care recruitment depends on safeguarding, calibration and continuity.

Vet before we send

Enhanced DBS, references, Care Certificate, NMC PIN where applicable, right-to-work. Done before the CV reaches the home manager.

Brief before we search

A 30-minute briefing call about the home, the resident profile, the team mix and the must-haves. Written brief returned for sign-off.

Stay close after the offer

Day-7, day-30 and day-90 follow-ups with both sides. Issues caught early usually do not become problems.

Services

The ten care roles we place.

Permanent care staff for residential, nursing, domiciliary and supported living providers across the UK.

Healthcare Assistants

HCAs across residential and nursing homes, domiciliary providers and supported living.

Senior Carers

Senior carers and team leaders with NVQ Level 3, medication-trained.

Care Home Workers

Permanent care assistants for residential and nursing home rotas.

Domiciliary Carers

Community carers covering personal care, prompts and welfare visits.

Live-in Carers

Live-in carers for older adults, complex needs and end-of-life support.

Dementia Specialists

Carers and seniors with dementia training, behavioural support experience.

Care Coordinators

Rota planners, on-call leads and field-based coordinators for domiciliary.

Activity Coordinators

Activity and wellbeing coordinators for residential and dementia provisions.

Care Cooks

Care home cooks, IDDSI-aware, dietary-trained, food hygiene Level 2+.

Care Managers

Registered managers, deputy managers and area managers, CQC-experienced.

Our process

From brief to first day, four steps.

The same approach for an HCA or a registered manager.

01

Take the brief

30 minutes about the home, the rota and the resident mix. Written brief returned for sign-off.

02

Search and vet

Approach the network and active candidates. Vet, interview, rank.

03

Offer support

Counter-offer pressure, notice-period coordination, induction logistics.

04

Aftercare

Day-7, day-30 and day-90 check-ins. We close the loop on every placement.

How a J Rose Care brief actually runs

Care recruitment rewards the consultant who has worked alongside the rota. Resident continuity matters. Compliance matters. Cultural fit decides whether a senior carer is still leading shifts at six months.

Compliance is the floor, not the ceiling

Every candidate has DBS, references, Care Certificate and qualification checks completed before introduction. NMC PIN verified for nursing roles. That is the floor. Above it sits the conversation about resident type, behavioural support and CQC inspection readiness.

Calibration before search

If the band is below local market for a senior carer or registered manager, we will say so before we start, not after the offer is rejected.

Where we focus

Permanent placements only. Residential homes, nursing homes, domiciliary providers, supported living, dementia services. We do not run agency shift desks and we do not place clinical NHS roles.
